So what's the DAP you've used that had the worst sound quality?

I don't have much experience in this area, but I guess I'll say the 2G iPod Shuffle.
The hiss is huge. The sound also seems very messy, and unclean. I can hardly use it anymore.

i was tempted to spend 140 euros on the 2gb energy sistem 5000 dap, becuase of the 3.5" screen and ebook reader, but at the end, i just couldnt spend so much money on something like that,

I did use the Shuffle for exercise, but now my 3G Nano does all that.

Disagreement, I don't think the U2 is that horrible of a player as you stated.
The SQ is fine but there are better. Just that the U2 has a dark-ish sound.

I haven't used a Classic, and I doubt I will have the chance to. The Touch does sound better than the Fat Nano.
