To celebrate I ordered some KT-66's for my Quad II's used for the K1000's. Happy birthday electron tube! I still have 3 working ones from when the amps were new (1958). I will have to compare I suppose. Will I have at least a pair of these new ones in 2050 to do more comparisons. Well eveyone will have to hold tight uintil then to find out.

This is great stuff! I like how the first tube was a rectifier tube. There's something fundamental about that.
