oh wow, I didn't realize how much K701s need a high quality recording until I just played a new file I got that is amazingly bad. it's 192k but still, even 192k shouldn't sound like I'm under water

Uhh... I thought chocolate was the only non fruit flavor?

Maybe everyone on head-fi should send another one a random package of pop tarts, not the box but the little double package.

Nope, brown sugar, mint chocolate chip, cinnamon roll (haven't tried those though), chocolate, and quite a few others.

haha I hope you mean that in the sense that they also shine with a nice quality recording but cmon, what doesn't? I can deal with lossy but I really like 320k and above. Everything I can put in lossless is lossless

No I said that in the sense that they sound nothing like the K701s and there is a good chance you won't like the different sound signature. Donno how it handles bad sources, I auditioned one once and hated it, although that was probably due to not being properly amped.

I actually got them because I want something completely different. It's like ice cream, if you eat the same flavor every day for a year you get tired of it. I got the 80 Ohms so hopefully my little hornet can power them correctly.
