The Swiss Head-Fiers official census

Looking at the socket of the Hydra on the link from Urs and the plug of the cable on the link from swissheadphonelover carefully, I suspect that they are similar but not identical neither in form nor in the orientation of the pins.
I double checked and they do match, thankfully. Hydra’s input current rating is 16A and the inlet is IEC C19R same as the cable in the link from @swissheadphonelover. Danke vielmal!

Basel based here. Do you know a shop there where we can try IEMs? Or in Luzern?

I'm definitely going to K55 in Zurich soon...
IEMs - difficult.
Best are
K55.ch in Zurich and
Audioessence.ch in Küsnacht.

You can try some Shure IEMs in studiosounds.ch in Bern.

Maybe some Fiio IEMs in
www.mueller-spring.ch in Brugg.

I do not remember seeing any IEMs in digistore.ch in Genf.

Hi guys. I’m officially a Zürcher already. May I know what is the best platform to buy/sell gear? Is the headfi classifieds still the best one?

As I’m in the process of setting up my new place, I’m looking to also take the opportunity to organize and streamline, so I might have a few stuff I might be keen to sell to fellow hobbyists. Thanks!

Pashmeister,

Free Swiss platforms are:
https://www.tutti.ch/de
https://www.anibis.ch/de
AKAIK both are from the same Owners. Anibis seems to be more popular in the French speaking parts

Seller pays: RICARDO is the most popular: BUT they recently introduced some new & strange payment conditions and their charge - 10-12 % !! - is rather high (I never SOLD anything there)

There is also the German platform
audio-markt.de - das Portal für Highend-Geräte, Lautsprecher, Verstärker...
You have to register and pay “as you sell”: 5 euros per sale

-->> I mostly used "Cash at personal hand-over" when ever possible

Best of luck
& Regards
Urs

To Urs' list I would add this free market place which focuses on audio stuff:
https://www.avguide.ch/marktplatz

I fully agree about Ricardo...
have no experience with tutti or anibis.

audio-markt.de is surely a good possibility, but selling from Switzerland to one of the neighbour countries always brings up discussions about shipping fees, customs and taxes. Personally I use audio-markt for more expensive stuff only.

Based on my experience over the last years, avguide.ch is my first address to sell audio devices.
