Yeesh I guess I haven't posted in almost 2 years! Fun get together, it was useful to get feedback from you guys on my DIY Orpheus clones. Nice seeing you all!

That was an insanely fun meet! I am definitely impressed with how the MrSpeakers VOCE sounds. The best part is that it comes with 3 different felt filters in the box, so you can tune the sound a little. I spent a good chunk of time listening to the VOCE on my setup with the Schiit BiMB and SRM-252S. Even with this lowly setup, the sound was phenomenal. I'd definitely pick the sound of the VOCE over a SR-007 MKII or 009 any day! It has the speed of an electrostat minus the harshness that usually comes with it and a more Harman target curve-sounding response compared to the 007 MKI (meaning less colored to my ears).

I had a lot of fun catching up with @moedawg140. I haven't seen him since RMAF, so I'm really glad to see him doing so well. : )

It was neat seeing everyone's mods too. Some of these folks are really dedicated! @n3rdling's DIY Orpheus Clones are always a pleasure to listen to. Pure bliss!































I attempted to capture binaural recordings of the VOCE on the Blue Hawaii/2QUTE setup, but as you can tell it was quite noisy. I compared it with my SR-207 and with the thickest filters installed to have the darkest sound.

It was awesome hanging out with you, @miceblue! Crazy because I remember seeing you at RMAF, and I left for Bulgaria the next day.
