I’ve bought the a105 to use on daily walks as it’s a small player. I’ve got tired of lugging the hiby r8 about. I know this player has limited power so I’m wondering what would be good iems or headphones for daily walking. I don’t want to spend over £300

I use the WF and WHXM3's. I've gone wireless when out and about.

I still can’t remove the bloatware after following the Reddit instructions. Everything went as it was supposed to. It users that I the user didn’t permit the apps to be removed which isn’t true. But if there is a way to change that? Should I check the specific error?

Are you using a mac?
If so choose use USB for: NO data transfer when connecting the a105
do NOT select File Transfer option
I followed generic instructions for removing the bloatware from an android phone.

check the format of your uninstall commands.
the package names should begin with "com." the list command outputs the names in the format "package:com.xxxx"
as an example for google maps:
List output :
package:com.google.android.apps.maps
uninstall command:
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.maps

True. And the 105 is heavily capped. I wonder if devices sold in the UK will be exempt from this ridiculous cap now?

How long last your a105 when playing music without wifi on and with bt on please ?
And if you were me do you buy again an a55 or goes better on a a105 please ?
My criteria is battery playing time (I don’t want to charge it everyday).
And my last question please is: is Japanese model with English or French language please ?
I will buy one or the other tomorow please help me ah ah ^^

It is rather interesting that after i let my wm1a go (to fund the cayin n8) that i started to notice how nice the a105 sounded. Ive had the a105 for about 8 months now but i only started to enjoy listening to it lately and im surprised how it sounds quite holographic with just spotify streaming. Im glad i didnt sell this a few months ago (was literally sitting in a drawer and would just take it out to charge it occasionally).

Most all, i just love sony house sound! Satisfying and very comforting sounding audio players.

It still sounds quite nice. Sony did a great job with the sound circuitry and features. I just get annoyed with the battery only being enough for a single session or so with the hi-res toggle turned on even tho maybe I shouldn't care. If it charged a bit faster and supported wireless charging it would be nicer, too.

Still, it's a good design. The only thing missing from it other than getting a solution to the battery life is a 4.4mm balanced jack with a bit more power so it could do well on some more exotic IEMs with unusual driver combinations.

We are way past time for a successor to it tho.
