A100 - https://www.phileweb.com/news/d-av/201909/05/48319.html

ZX500 - https://www.phileweb.com/news/d-av/201909/05/48318.html

350 Euros for A100 and 830 Euros for ZX500. For reference, A40/A50 is ~200 Euros and ZX300 is 600 Euros.

Walkman UI maintained through the W music app.

EDIT: For the ZX500, "since the streaming music distribution service can be played directly on this unit, the Bluetooth receiver function that was installed in the ZX300 etc. is omitted this time. The USB DAC function, L / R channel balance, auto power off, and level meter are also omitted."

EDIT2: 439 Euros for A100 40th Anniversary Ed.

Look at that HUGE hit on the battery life simply by going with Android..... we are talking near 10hrs lost of battery life compared to the previous ZX300.

Oh well, since Sony is finally throwing their weight behind streaming with the Hi-res streaming Mora service next year, they have to add an Android compatible model to ensure a good streaming app experience.

Schiit... all this wait for nothing. The main Walkman pro - the battery life - is gone. Both models are stuck at the same power output as the previous iterations. Gone is the nice custom UI replaced by Android. And surprise - the 40th anniversary Walkman is the NW-A100 TPS? I really hoped for much more than just slapping Android on them, obliterating the battery life and calling it a day.
