I used to use the HD600s for mixing and production. They may be neutral relative to the HD650s, but they're still much too veiled, colored, and forgiving to track a mix accurately.

I strongly suggest looking at the Sony SA5000. They're in about the same price range as the HD650s. They expose major problems with my mixes that the HD600s gloss over.
