Hey there! I'm a new member at head-fi, so if I'm not doing this right, please tell me.
Anyway, I bought a Rosewill RHM-556 headset a few months ago and I was wondering whether anybody here at head-fi has an opinion to share on them.
I'm hesitant to provide my own opinion as I don't have much experience with headphones and I also lack the equipment to take advantage of almost any headset: I normally use my laptop, which has an integrated Intel audio chip from 2006 that can produce a lot of annoying distortion (which is for some reason fixed by switching to 4.0 Surround Sound in PulseAudio). However, I am of the opinion that these headphones give an immersive experience with strong tenor, good alto and soprano, but perhaps with a tad less bass than I would care for.
I mostly use them to listen to classical music, symphonic rock, symphonic metal, game scores, and film scores. To me, there is nothing quite like a full orchestra.
So how about it? Anybody with some experience with this headset?
