I'm not entirely sure. I will have to dig them out of my tube pile.Which 6J5s do have now?
It’s hard to tell from the pictures, are those round plates? If so they’re bound to be Sylvania, another quality tube. I have some Tung Sol JAN 12j5gt that I haven’t used in a long time but I do remember liking them quite a bit. I should try them again soon. All of you were right about the Tung-Sol VT-94D. I was on vacation the last few weeks and these were waiting for me when I returned. Just popped them in and wow, they're fabulous right from the get go. They were on ebay for a while, not sure why they didn't get scooped up but I was able to get them for a great price. Easily worth the money!

Looks the same as mine. Good find, they seem to be rare as hens teeth! They look similar/same as this to my eyes:

Doing a little more research, they're not round in the middle like a pic I found of Sylvanias, they're definitely ladder plates. I assume they're TS
They're impressing me. Indeed, I feel lucky to have scored them. Great preamp tubes. Can't find anything I don't like about them.Looks the same as mine. Good find, they seem to be rare as hens teeth!

It looks like an anomaly but I'm guessing it's just a reflection@JTbbb
