Not sure, but I think that means it's looking for a Bluetooth connection.where can I turn off in the application that if I use PC USB the 5K does not flash the blue LED every 5 seconds?

I set it in the application, if it is connected to USB, Bluetooth turns it off. But despite this, the blue LED blinks twice every five seconds, in pc usb dac mode. I want to eliminate this. It's annoying that it blinks at night. It never blinked when connected to Bluetooth.
Dunno. Mine is always in my pocket when I use it. I've only ever noticed it flashing when it's in pairing mode. I turned bluetooth off with the Qudelix connected to my phone via usb and it's working. What kind of quality am I getting?. None of the functions work on the app. The blue light is flashing away looking to hook up with the phone... suppose there's no real point seeing as saving would be nothing.

There is a 2021 request for this exact same scenario in the Qudelix forum. Hasn’t been considered, and not many “likes”. Qudelix recommendation is to leave the 5K connected to BT in addition to USB…Dunno. Mine is always in my pocket when I use it. I've only ever noticed it flashing when it's in pairing mode. IIRC you have to be connected via bluetooth to access the DSP functions, right? If so, that would explain why I never see what @dpeterfy32 describes above. I pretty much only use this as a bluetooth device, but even when I do use it via USB, I always use the DSP. For me, I have no reason to use the Q5K without its DSP.There is a 2021 request for this exact same scenario on Qudelix forum. Hasn’t been considered, and not many “likes”. Do you want the lights? You could just turn them all off.

You can access all the functions, including DSP/PEQ, from the Qudelix Chrome extension through USB.IIRC you have to be connected via bluetooth to access the DSP functions, right? In fact, controlling the 5K—USB or BT—is independent from the audio source—USB or BT—, any combination works including weird scenario like playing through BT from a phone and controlling the 5K from a PC (Cr extension) through USB…
I think that’s where Qudelix answer came from about the flashing lights, there is really no detriment to leave the 5K dual-connected, USB and BT…

Unfortunately not on iOS. The reason I got the 5K was precisely bc there are so few options for PEQ on iOS. Otherwise I’d just use UAPP or something with a different single. You can access all the functions, including DSP/PEQ, from the Qudelix Chrome extension through USB.

That's often my setup when adjusting EQ, especially if I'm using Squig link to generate new parameters.

Not sure I understand… I can use my 5K plugged to my (old) iPhone—with the right lightning/USB adapter or cable—and at the same time, control it, PEQ and everything, with the iOS app through BT…Unfortunately not on iOS. Yeah. Sorry. I must be being confusing. Can only operate DSP via BT, even over USB. Therefore, I’ve never had the issue described above by @dpeterfy32.Not sure I understand… I can use my 5K plugged to my (old) iPhone—with the right lightning/USB adapter or cable—and at the same time, control it, PEQ and everything, with the iOS app through BT…

i think this is a new bug in 3.0.7 firmware (with my unit at least). I need to try a factory reset but don't feel like dealing with it yet.where can I turn off in the application that if I use PC USB the 5K does not flash the blue LED every 5 seconds?
under bluetooth settings -> "Bluetooth mode with USB DAC" with "Bluetooth off until next power on" enabled, it used to be fine and not flash like it does when searching bluetooth. with 3.0.7 I have to power on before plugging into USB. let it flash a few times until it pauses the flashes on its own, then plug into USB. Otherwise the flashing continues after it's idle for 2-3 minutes on USB (then after the initial 2-3 mins, it continuously flashes, pause a few secs, flash again, etc). It's an odd bug because the Bluetooth is in fact off and inactive as per the settings.
My pre-3.0.7 was just plug into USB from powered off and no problems, now if I do that it will keep flashing like it's searching Bluetooth even though the Bluetooth is off.

yes, the bt turns off when I use a usb pc, I did this in the settings. in front of it flashes red and blue. now only in blue. but then it's a bug, ok. I thought, because there was no other setting for this, I don't plan to turn off the LED completely, because I use the red light to indicate charging, everything else that causes the LED to flash is completely useless to me.i think this is a new bug in 3.0.7 firmware (with my unit at least).
