Ah, thank you. Would like to find a messenger bag/sling type of an alternative.

There are messenger bags that are padded that function as camera bags too. But its expensive. But the above headphone case looks interesting. Thanks for the heads up

hey everyone, I plan on getting one of these. quick question:
are the Mdr Z7 cable compatible with these?
I probably wanna get a 4 pin xlr cable for these from forza audio works, but they only list
the Z7 cables as an option, hence the question.
Thanks

Z7 cables are 100% compatible with Z1R

Fyi - one of the best albums to see if your 3rd party cable indeed captures a more expansive soundscape + extended treble + inner detail is The Tallis Scholars' [Requiem] on Gimell Records. Non-instrumental a capella music of Spanish Renaissance polyphony. Whether you're into early music or not, you'll quickly be able to tell whether you are hearing "more/better" when you A/B the new cables with stock. Listen for the articulation & the plosives, the drawing of breaths, and also the contrapuntal lines from soprano down, the spatial cues in the recording venue (churches in northern England). The music is amazing, that's the first thing of course:

Yes they are compatible. I have a Forzaaudioworks cable that fits both my Z7 and my Z1r.

I'll have to check this out.    I am a big jazz fan but can't stand the smooth / dinner music jazz or people like Kenny G.   I like daring and adventurous stuff like Coltrane, Mingus, Davis, Art Blakey, Eric Dolphy, etc.   Those guys were light years ahead when they were playing and still sound fresh and new today.  Jazz is an acquired taste but I think the good stuff is often neglected because there are misconceptions about it.  There is beauty in it even in what may sound like chaos at first.  It's the sound of freedom.  The Z1R is great with jazz because you really feel the weight of the drum and bass tones.

OMG save me from Kenny G. Not a fan of Ed Sheeran either.
