there is a clear distinction between good looking cans... and good looking cans on the head.

RS1 looks amazing. On the head not so much. As with the HD800s too

I'm sure they sound amazing, but to me, the HD800s just look completely over-designed.

Most woody and super-techno postmodern designs look goofy on a human head.

Understated aluminum or steel, on the other hand..

I dunno, if I'm going to pay $1400 on a pair of headphones, everything should be perfect, down to aesthetics.
