I'm using the EML Mesh Plate 300b tubes in my Balancing Act.  They seem well worth the added price over  for the EH 300b. 
 
The price for a quad of EML 45's is $1,342 with shipping from tubesUSA.  If there is a better price out there, I'd love to get a PM about it!
 
(EML had a short run of the Globe design but sold out and there are none scheduled for the future.  There are globe type 45s that come up on eBay once in a while.)

I got my EML 300b Mesh from them, but the price was about the same.  I'll check it out though  . . .

Forgot to say, I got an email from Craig & he said the 445 was about 6 weeks out.

That is awesome, only 6 weeks....just grabbed a matched quad of RCA 245 globe.

^ One of the problems I'm having with the 445 is that I can't easily test the tubes with my emissions testers.  For my ECBA I couldn't test the 300b either, but they were new.  I found a few shorted, weak, and dead tubes (6SN7, & EZ90) on eBay, but I was very surprised to get more than a few bad ones from well known "reputable" used tube dealers.

I do not have any problem so far, and Brent is really easy to deal with. He also offers 30 days guarantee. I asked him to ship after I receive my 445.

thanks, and may I ask the price for a matched quad of RCA 245 globe ?  Did you pay an extra for the "matched quad" selection ?
 
also, why did you chosed the RCA ?  Did you considered before purchase other brands like the EML 45 mesh or  Sophia 45 Mesh ?

Honestly I do not know why I choose them, I will also get EML 45 mesh to compare. The price varies, I paid 500usd for them, no extra for quad matching. I do not care about its appearance, but globe is beautiful.
