Hi!
Since I'm self interested in modding my Beyerdynamic, I wonder If we could make our self’s a thread to sum up all the available mods that could be done to the Beyerdynamic headphones - both DIY as well as mods that others does for you.
I'll start with one mod that we all know, and if you have any other mod that you would like to share, post it and I will copy it and write it in this first post.
Please do follow the model below.
#1
Mod name:
Darth Beyers at Headphile.com
For which model:
DT-770
Contains:
Somewhat secret wooded cups and/or change of cable.
How to:
You don't, Larry makes them - contact him at Headphile.com.
Change in sound:
Tighter and wider bass, more mids and taming of heights.
Different in some aspects concerning type of wood and cable.
Price:
$85 - $200/meter for recabling, $200 - $640 for Woody/Recabling depending on cable length and sort, choice of wood and other options.
/Chopha
PS.
If you think this is a lousy idea, please tell me.
