Just curious.

I know that the RS-1's have been on the market for several years now, so John has got to have something up his sleeve. I'm not talking about his limited edition releases (PS-1, GS-1000), I'm wondering when we're going to see the successor to the RS-1? Any rumors floating around?

And what about Sennheiser? They seem to recycle models at a pretty constant rate...when do you think we'll see a HD 700?

Indeed. the GS1000 is the new top of the line production can. So we really should be asking "When's the HD700 coming out?"

Yeah GS1000 is top of the line (although some dont seem to like it). The rate at which Grado seems to design new flagship models, you can look for the GS2000 sometime in 2015.

There are threads discussing the hd700. Senn seems to produce new models every 3-5 years.

If you are thinking of buying the GS-1000 try and listen to them before you do. They're very un-Grado like and IMO don't have a very good midrange. Just a very powerful bass and sibilant highs.
