Yes, that's correct as per @jaboki's post :)
I CAN hear the clicks from my headphones.( especially from those with high sensitivity). Does it mean my unit is defective?😫😭

I'm not sure how that's done in Enleum, but any audible clicks shouldn't impact playback to a degree that there's any discomfort. Mechanical switches make sound and that's their nature, but on headphones/speakers it often is audible as mild pops and that's it. Personally I don't have any issues with that knowing what devices are used to attenuate volume and how they work in general, but someone else might. Hope this helps, thanks!

Hey guys, just wondering what is a good DAC to pair with the Enleum Amp 23R? I currently have a RME ADI 2 PRO FS R but am thinking of upgrading. I mostly use my Susvaras and Utopias but I am looking into get speakers in the future if that makes any difference. Preferably would want to spend less than $5,000. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Is your budget for used or new? Do you care if the DAC is balanced or singled ended (considering you'll use only half the DAC it it's balanced because of the Enleum limitation)?
Wha do you like about your current chain? Why are you upgrading? What are you looking for?

Either used or new. I don't mind if the DAC is balanced or SE. I want something that still keeps my set up compact. I feel like the RME is a good value DAC but I am inclined to believe that a higher end DAC could give me a better listening experience. Also I've been interested in trying an R2R DAC to see how it differs from what I currently have but thats not a must. I am looking at Holo May KTE, Chord TT2 and the Rockna Wavelight but I'm not sure how they pair with the Enleum.

Only the Chord TT2 is compact in that list.

Maybe add Morpheus/Pasithea to the list? Similar compactness (your criteria) and it's R2R (your interest) :)

There's no reason why they shouldn't pair well, but the important question to ask is about the sound you'd like to hear from your headphones. R2R DACs have their own flavor described by many as organic, but to some it's also a touch dark and earthy without a spark on top. It's a matter of referencep oints really. If you can list some things you'd like to change in the way how your headphones sound, that would help in listing some ideas. Hope this helps, thanks!

Morpheus is not the best dac to pair with Enleum.
