My 23r is getting home to me today after some time off back home with Soo for a firmware upgrade. Super excited and been missing it!

Was the firmware for the new remote control? How long was turn around time?

All the high-end DACs need to be huge

Power supplies is the main reason, it takes A LOT of space and in R2R DACs also resistor ladder networks can get big. I imagine that Enleum would make a DAC similarly sized (if not the same) as to their amp and that would still work great I think.

Sure, but I'm also hoping it's smaller than what you typically see and closer to their amp. I don't mind if it's taller, just not like Rockna/Holo Audio 17 inches type width!

Border Patrol DAC sounds really clean and analog/real with the Bakoon 13r.

If Enleum's DAC is meant to work with their small amp, I would assume that it may look quite similar to visually match it :)

No, it was a more general update since I haven't sent mine back yet for a bit. Soo was great and got it back to me within 5 days.

Yep, it will likely be the same vein knowing Soo and how he designs things.

I've been trying different power cords with my 23R. So far, I've tried a relatively low cost Signal Cable Magic power cord, a Triode Wire Labs 10 Plus, and a Triode Wire Labs 7 Plus. The Signal Cable PC was good but the TWL 10 Plus was noticeably better. The 10 Plus provided a deeper soundstage, and blacker blacks between images. The 7 Plus improved everything a bit more (more body, better dynamics, bigger soundstage). The PC changes were easy to hear. I discussed this with my dealer, Darin at Jaguar Audio, and he agrees that power cords make a noticeable difference with the 23R. He doesn't sell the power cords that I'm using so he had nothing to gain. He does sell top quality PC but I'm very satisfied with TWL 7 Plus.

Just wanted to ask you guys who own this amp. This volume knob has digital attenuator , and when you do volume up or down - this makes click click click in the headphones, right? I just saw the review on youtube and was a little bit dissapointed with this information. I dont want to have listen this small clicks when I do volume regulations

Yep, it works like that by design. With headphones on I barely notice it.

It's not digital. Those clicks you hear are mechanically switching relays (inside the product) that adjust the amplifier's gain (volume), but you won't hear them on speakers/headphones. Hope this helps, thanks!

you mean these clicks will be noticable only near the device , but not inside hearing music compositions, I mean when I already listen music inside headphone and adjust volume, then do I listen this step-changing volume? on music itself even if the composition has low level moment .

Correct.

Correct, you will not hear the sound produced through the headphone, or speakers. BUT, you will hear it if you are near the amp (as the sound is coming off of the amp).

I can confirm there are noticeable clicks when changing the gain depend on your listening environment. For me, I use it in a quasi near-field environment so it's surely audible. My DAC also serves as a digital preamp, I use that to adjust the level.

I agree. I am eyeing on the Sonnet Pasithea, not quite small as the Bakoon/Enleum but still relatively compact for what it offers.
Borrowed the Pasithea from my friend, it was magical with the Bakoon and Susvara. Just pure realism in the sound, amazing DAC.
