I'll look into those PSVane ACME's...
Alternately you can also take a look at Linlai. It's a fairly new tube manufacturer, but established by people previously associated with Psvane IIRC.
IMO 23R is quite overpriced now.
Many manufacturers have to raise their prices due to shortages of parts and their increasing cost. That's just the nature of it. As for Enleum, its new price may still be appealing to those after an amp as good with speakers and headphones. From what I can tell, it'll also sell with previously optional footers, (arguably?) better speaker terminals and, someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, a fancier remote control. It's not bad at all.

While i love the amp and purchased it with the feet i have to say i cant let myself think about the additional cost of them. For my sanities sake i like to tell myself that they must be made out of some form of precious metal, although they didnt feel like it when i was screwing them in... someone over in Enleum is laughing all the way to the bank
... at least now i can tell the mrs something i bought went up in value

Seems to me they'd have been better off having the feet included and charge a bit more if they feel they have to, 'cause charging for feet for an amp that were made for that amp does seem a tad on the bogus side.... Kinda like Auris charging $100 extra for a remote. Nickel and diming customers does not make one feel like value for money is really great. While i love the amp and purchased it with the feet i have to say i cant let myself think about the additional cost of them. I would consider Auris to be consumer friendly. dCS charges $500 for a remote for the Rossini. That being said I find myself a little dubious for the need of isolation feet on a SS amp especially for those of us using it as a headphone amplifier exclusively.

Go price the dCS remote now! It’s a shitload more than that. Nice, though. Good for self-defence

It does... but have to say when you open the box and see them for the first time you're not left with a warm cosy feeling in your stomach... they should come pre attached so you can admire the overall effect straight out of the box rather than thinking about how much each one cost as you spin it into place...

I had a similar experience with the AMP-13R with the Harbeth PS3ER 40th anniversary edition. I think its more a limitation of the speakers than anything else. They're designed for near field listening, but even then, they don't have enough meat on the bone for my taste.I tried the AMP-23r with my Harbeths and while it was good -- detailed and clean and musical -- it fell short, at least at lower volumes, similar to how the speakers sounded when I bypassed the preamp section of my integrated amp and ran the DAC direct through the amp section. They were missing some heft, some fullness or roundednes that is there with the preamp. Something that provides a firmer foundation. Switching back to the integrated confirmed this.
This was a brief test. I'll try again with more time.
But as a headphone amp I could not be happier. No lack of heft at all, a very firm foundation.

From what I've read it's more about what these feet actually do. It's not a regular ball bearing type of a decoupling device, but rather something designed specifically for Enleum's mass that comprises of internally irregularly shaped base and its upper piece. Besides, you can always unscrew these pucks and find out for yourself how much they contribute. Maybe then it would be easier to justify the expense
Subjectively speaking, I like how the amp looks on them

I think the price increase does make it a bit less competitive but not necessarily overpriced. Can't agree more. Lost interest instantly in it.
The Bakoon 13R was $6000 back then (if I remember correctly), the Enleum 23R, which many claims is an improved version of the 13R, is now more or less back to the price level of its predecessor. As an owner of the 13R, I honestly think price is quite justifiable in the world of hi-fi. It performs like a top-tier headphone amp + a power amp for speakers. I agree that for certain audiophile who focuses only in headphones, the price of the 13R/23R is surely on the high-end but having said that, a lot of other top tier headphone-only amps (e.g. Ferrum Oor + Hypsos, Niimbus US5Pro etc) aren't that much cheaper than the 13R/23R. I guess ultimately it really depends on your usage of the amp. I use it for my speaker and headphone system, and I am one happy customer (of course as a consumer, a lower price is always welcome).

+ a power amp for speakers.
It's an integrated amp that can work as a power amp

My thoughts exactly. Bakoon's enclosure had to be more expensive to make considering its complexity, but if Enleum sounds better...
