Feb 19, 2025 at 8:28 AM Post #346 of 387
Bonjour

Ouch, thats not just a punch in the face, it’s also a double kick to the nuts.

I don’t know how much but I’ve heard like most people around here that it may be 10 to 15K, still, I don’t even use my scaler, I built a new PC and I’ve put my scaler in it’s box, not sure whether to return it so they can drill out the screw as I reckon it’s been super glued in, as nothing I tried got it to budge, but it works with the remote perfectly.

25K is mad money, I could have a holiday in hawaii with hookers and blow for a month for that price and still have enough left over to bail myself out of jail and to pay off the local cops.

And 25K will only be the start of it. If the MScaler is anything to go by, there‘ll be 5K woo-woo cables, 10K woo-woo power supplies for the power supplìes, ferrite case work. Hawaii looks a good bet. Go down in style. I’ll stand bail for you.

Well I hope not… I think hifi should be available to everyone, that loves music even of they have to save money for it, but for some 25k would be a half year salary, that is out of proportion for most people, so they will never able to experience this….

I really think the market should calm down a little with their price raises. Especially some brands.
