I've been reading the Can Jam thread in its entirety, and I've read lots and lots about new equipment and great rigs. The RtR tape project rig has me particularly intrigued, and man I wish I could hear that sometime.
I wanted to start a music thread for Can Jam 2k9 and see what all people were exposed to in the way of new music (to you) or just new music in general. I know my enjoyment of this hobby is greatly increased when I stop by and talk to the guy at the local stereo shop and find out about a great recording I haven't heard before, or a good vinyl pressing that is light years beyond the redbook CD mastering of the same album.
So... that in mind. For those who attended Can Jam this year, what new music did you hear that you really liked? It could be totally new, new to you, or maybe a recording you just needed to sit back down and reacquaint yourself with.
