What portable (I mean just that it has to be carryable, not necessarily isolating) phone do you guys think is the most commonly owned and used on Head-Fi?

I would say the ksc-75's are very common among head-fiers from what I have seen, if not the most common but I could be wrong, although I can't imagine anything exceeding the 75's in terms of ownership, usage may be a different story though.

Bingo. Its the cheapest recommended portable phone here. Id think even those who have a dedicated phone for the task still bought the KSC-75s as a backup or just to satisfy the curiousity.

My guess would be PX100 or SR-60. Very popular budget-grade. Both may come second to the KSC-75 though.

Ill agree that a lot of people OWN an SR-60 but portably use them? Nah. Some may in a pinch or they are the rare breed that doesnt mind the leaking sound all over the place but not enough of those types exist to be a second or third ranking (behind the 75s, of course)

I think the PX100 is spot on though. Id say top 5 for sure, most likely a top 3.

It's very unlikely to be as popular a portable as the Koss clip-ons or PX100s.

KSC75 i guess, based on all threads up here. Very popular phones, only USD 9.95 plus nice sounding.
Myself I use AKG K26P all the time and now AKG K81 DJ will taking there place, after they arrived.
