A great source of information on headphones, even if you never get to hear the model being reviewed, is darthnut's review of the STAX SR-007 (Omega II) after 4 years of using them. He goes into a lot of detail about how we perceive sound which is very useful when pondering the SQ of any headphone. Quite long, but a must-read for dedicated head-fi'ers IMO.
