it looked like he sold the he90, not the entire orpheus (amp + headphone).

Read the ad carefully. It was just for the headphone.

There is no way he sold both an HE90 and HEV90 for $2000.

does it matter? an HE90 went for 2000! that's still the second best deal of the year: behind the 175 dollar HP1000 on audiogon.

Depends on whether you measure by absolute value or percentage :wink: This is at least $3000 under normal HE90 price.
