As you guys know, I sold my R10/HR2 combo, SR007/KGSS combo, K1000, HD600+zu, DT880, ER4P-S,etc.
Now, I welcome my ultimate System!
ORPHEUS!

So, glad to hear it, so glad to keep this system.

I can surely say that: Orpheus is the best MUSICAL System I have ever heard.
I discover that----listening to MUSIC is the best way to enjoy!
I used to think that the most detail headphones is the best.
But, now I can say, the most musical phone is the best----through this headphone also has the most detail.
LOL.

You've compared the HE90 on the KGSS vs. the HEV90?

I may have to build an HEV90 and give it a listen... it's been a long time since I've heard the HEV90.

Man... too many projects, too little money!

I was going by my memories of the Orpheus system (which I've auditioned three times) versus my impressions of the Gilmore amp (which I've also heard three times, albeit under better conditions). Again, to be sure I'd have to build an HEV90.

If anyone else is interested in hearing the amp, drop me a line.

If zcx posted pictures of the guts of his HEV90, I could build one identical to Sennheiser's construction. (I have the schematics.)

If your Sennheiser clone will be even the same look, I order one NOW!

Best!

Just to make something clear, before I hear from Sennheiser Legal -- I'm NOT in the buisness of building clones of ANY sort (especially for profit), and the schematics are NOT getting out of my hands.

I would be interested in making a unit for myself; unfortunately, I don't think that's going to happen as I can't afford parts cost.
