OK, I have always kept my eye on the ATH-A700, because I don't have enough nor can my budget reach up to the ATH-A900. So I have already been looking at the K 240 Studios, but now I need to know which is better. I want to have bass go pretty deep, because I love rumble, and I want some bass if I'm gonna spend this amount on headphones. Even though I want bass, I do want High's and Mid's, and the 'phone with the best treble/least treble roll-off. Also as far as buying the ATH-A700's, I can only find them on audiocubes for the cheapest price, and I really don't want to buy them used (not eBay or FS/FT Forums).

A700s out of the two choices you have, but I don't think they will give you the bass you are looking for. They have good bass, but if I understand you correctly, they won't have enough to meet your needs.
