If you are part of the small and dwindling group that actually buys music, here is a thread for you (us).

What are the last ten albums you added to your collection?

My default is always to reach for my latest additions but I do have many playlists and sometimes I go by artist.

Anyway, my last ten album/package
additions are:

1) The Beatles 1962-1966. The Red album, remastered. (double album)

2) Crosses - Goodnight, God Bless, I love you, Delete.

3) John Coltrane - A Giant Step in Jazz (consists of about 7 albums).

4) Keith Jarrett - Sun Bear Concerts (10 albums covering 5 different concerts).

5) The Budos Band - Frontier's Edge (EP).

6) Lee Konitz - Live at the Half Note. (double album)

7) The Budos Band - Long in the Tooth.

8) Miles Davis - At Plugged Nickel, Chicago.

9) Aryon Jones - Chronicles of the Kid.

10) Buckcherry - Vol.10

Of course I am not counting singles, just full albums. That covers June until this day in November.

Does digital albums count, or only physical albums?

Digital counts. That's how I buy almost all my music. CD's are occasionalpurchase, but rarely. Haven't bought vinyl in decades

I have not heard of a single artist that you mentioned. Which is completely due to my ignorance!

Based on our lists, I do think we have quite different taste in music 😁 That being said, I enjoy most types of music, and the above list is affected by the Friday sales Bandcamp has. So I've bought quite a few there, which skews the list more into electronic music, than what my actual taste in music is :)

I go to Bandcamp trying to find new, interesting jazz. Get tired of digging after an hour or so though.
And the suggested minimums have been rising. I am spoiled with iTunes paying $9.99 per album, plus tax in Canadian dollars.

I usually find the music on Tidal, but then buy it on Bandcamp to support the artists. Finding new, good music on Bandcamp is really hard.
I usually end up paying 10-20% more than the asking price plus taxes.

You are a high roller!
That would a fair bit for me. I buy music every week. At least a few songs and sometimes a few albums. If I can't find something new I like, I fill the old collections out more, which is a lot of the buying in the winter months.
