Yes, I'm very surprised how the cheapest tube is the best performance (at the moment) on my setup.

The JJ Tesla 300B on the Cary/HD650/Equinox is simply incredible, all the other 300B tested at this moment are colored and muffled...

Next comparison will be with AVVT C37 and Full Music solid.

I love my JJ E34L's and the EL84's aren't too shabby either.

Can you post a pic? The tricky thing with JJ 300B is that there are more than one version; some versions were built with thicker glass, better quality than other version. It's reported that the heavier versions sound significantly better.

The latest version of JJ Tesla 300B are the best. The glass is very thick, the sound is incredibly detailed and precise. Dimension of the tube is very tall and heavy, construction is superb.
