Neurosis nearly scared the **** out of me my first discovery. Their music is so emotionally intense that it became a cathartic experience for me.

Neurosis is spectacularly good. Definitely something you have to warm up to though. I agree with you 100% there.

I love Neurosis to death. They took me a while to 'get', but damn it was worth it.

This is probably one of the most epic metal tunes I've heard. It took a little bit for me to get into this Finnish Folk/Epic Metal, but it blows my mind now. Moonsorrow is one of the greats.
