But its good to know that they are updating this with a more sexy and appealing look!

The one on the right is. I had to read what was on the dark model, it is the PB3, a balanced or single ended amp.

Has anyone seen either of these in the wild? I ordered the pb3 off Amazon UK but had to send it straight back due to a loose screw or component inside the housing.

Not sure if I should re-order, wait for the D-Zero (any idea on release date?) Or just skip them and put the money towards a balanced DAP (like the x5iii).

Our orders for the PB3 are just starting to go out. The UK got one of the first shipments. I am terribly sorry that you received a PB3 with something loose inside. I do know what it might have been since there is nothing to come loose but I have informed the factory because we do not want anything like this happening. The PB3 is an excellent sounding balanced and single ended amplifier and we put a lot of time and R&D into it. The case is all CNC and the circuitry is optimized for great sound in a small size. I hope you are able to try another PB3 as I think you will be happy with it.

I made a video of it just in case the return got refused, it's not public as i'm sure it was an isolated incident and bad luck. I will PM you the link so you can see what I am talking about.

When's the D-zero mk3 due to ship, any idea on cost as well?

Thanks

The PB3 is just starting to roll out. They should both be up soon. Everything on them is custom. We have special jacks made and the case is all CNC and the volume control is milled from solid aluminum. They feel solid and the sound quality is clean and lays out before you.

I can assume it is a screw. It could be an assembler had one too many screws and didn't see one they had left on the board when doing the assembly. Thank you for the video. We are addressing this with our QC people and take this very seriously.

The D-Zero MKIII will be released soon but I don't have a date at this time. It is done but we are extremely busy so it got pushed back a little. I don't have the price yet but it will be very reasonable especially considering that this is a totally redesigned circuit and handles most all music formats. The low profile matches well with many phones or however it is going to be used. It is all CNC like the PB3.
