The "I hate waiting for parcels" thread.

My fiance told me that a package arrived at home for me today. The only thing I am expecting is my RS-1s, so I imagine they will be there for me when I get home from my conference.. *sigh*

For the folks in the UK, how long do USPS usually take?

My e4 took 18 days to arrive - 6 days until it was actually dispatched and 9 days in international transit.

So far I've been waiting 13 days on a Gilmore Lite (not from Justin at HeadAmp), 10 of which have been in international transit and still counting...

If it was sent by Global Priority (which I think doesn't exist anymore), then that is about right.

It was probably sent as a regular air parcel then assuming you didn't get a tracking number. 10 days in transit is not such a long time for non-expedited airmail.

I bought a set of cans off of a fellow head-fi'r who lives 6 hours away from me. Fed-ex then decides that instead of making the trip short and to the point, they take the cans from Idaho to Tennessee to California then I think they may have shown up in Montana...It makes you wonder who is in charge of their routing systems.

I purchased a Gilmore Lite w/DPS from someone in Australia around 2 months ago. It has been waiting there, as relatives who were visiting could bring it back for me (saving shipping cost and cough*bypassing*cough*customs). It was worth the wait though

Currently waiting on a Pimeta and some RP-21s. Seems like even shipping by air mail takes a very long time

I'm going crazy being left with only a cheap headset and my speakers

On the other hand, there are two fellow US head-fiers waiting on packages I sent, and none has arrived so far. Seems like it takes a lot of time shipping in the other direction, too

Custom Beyer Manufacture DT880s arrived in the country this morning! Now it's just a matter of waiting for customs clearance (should be out by Monday).

Currently been waiting three (3) long weeks for a MacBook Pro.
At order time they estimated 2-3 weeks before shipping. So it should ship any day now... At least I hope so!
