Both are more neutral than euphonic with the gsx mk2 being the more neutral of the two. The BA might have a slightly better preamplifier but keep in mind while I owned both they were not in the house at the same time. What did you find the differences between the ECBA and the GSX MK2 ?

Anybody have a GSX MK2 hooked up to a Chord DAVE for hard to drive headphones i.e. Abyss 1266, Susvara etc. ?
If so, how do the 1266, Susvara or any other hard to rive headphone sound ?
Do you find the DAVE loose it's amazing transparency and other great characteristics when adding the GSX MK2 ?
The GS-X Mk2 and GS-X mini are both brilliant after the DAVE with the Phi TC, Susvara, etc...plenty of power on tap!

Has anyone compared the GS-X mini vs Violectric V281 which I already own. I am curious if the GS-X mini comes across somewhat warm like the V281? I am thinking of buying the Abyss 1266, or Susvara. I plan using it with the Dave
Thanks
Thanks
I've got my GS-X mk2 just a few days ago but noticed one thing. When I hook up source to RCA1 input and then
turn on RCA2 switcher (not RCA1) on the front panel I still clearly hear that the music is playing (not as loud as it were when RCA1 was turn on but yet still audible).
I'm plug in headphones to 1/4 and use H gain.
Can someone comment is it normal unit behavior? Thanks.

I love it with my TT. I know of others with dave that like it as well.

So it's superior

Don’t have tt2, but if you want end to end balanced delivery, why wouldn’t it....but again, cant say for tt2...it’s like a microscope on tt2 dac which I understand is impressive so should be good.
I am thinking between gsx mk2 vs mini for amp purchase. My dac is hugo tt2 with mscaler. I will be needing a better preamp also in my speaker setup. Lot of reviews say mk2 is slightly brighter and mini is musical. If anyone has tried both qnd share ur experiences pls? Thanks

I've owned the GS-X mini for nearly a year now and it's a wonderful little amp. Easily one of the best under $2k, it has all the detail and resolution you could want with just a touch of warmth. I haven't used it as a pre-amp but I think the GS-X MK2's dual mono design might provide more advantages as a pre-amp (greater channel separation and potentially lower noise). If the dual mono nature and extra features of the GS-X MK2 would be useful for you I'd go that route if it's in your budget. Otherwise you'd be happy with the GS-X mini, it could easily be an end game amp for most people.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Looking to put some IsoAcoustics Orea pucks underneath both the PS and head unit on my new GSX MK2. Does anyone know the weight of each unit? Google only returned one answer - 7lbs for the PS and 5lbs for the top head unit?
Has anyone used Isoacoustics Orea's? I am planning on using 4 underneath each unit and not 3 as the current number of feet are. It seems like the smallest Orea ,the Graphite, should work as 4 Graphites can support a total of 16lbs.
The bottom Orea's underneath the PS will have to support the total combined weight of the two Headamp boxes (12lbs?) plus the additional weight of 4 more Orea Graphites. I can't seem to locate the weight of the individual Orea's however I do not think they are anywhere near a lb each so I should be good and fit under the 16lb limit.

What is everyone using as a phono preamp for their GSX mk2s? I am in the market for one and bummed to learn the preamp switch on it doesnt pertain to phono.
