Hi guys,

The HD 598 CS has been released on Amazon.in.

And I'm probably the first person to listen to them.

These are probably the same as HD 569 as per specs.

Ask me anything!

UPDATE

Received my pair. Probably the first one in the world. :)

Compared to HD 598 regular:

Bass: More in qty. much tighter.

Treble: More in qty. lusher.

Mids: Even more forward. Clearer.

V shaped with forward mids. Exactly like RS 180 and Aktimate Mini+.

Worth INR 19k. At 7k it is a no brainer.

Goes louder than HD 598. But not as comfortable.

Must Buy For All

What's your signal chain and source material? How would you describe the build quality? Can you be more specific than "tighter", "lusher" and "clearer"? Any pictures to share?

My rig is in my sig. However, I am not using my rig to listen to these.
 
I am using BTunes (out of my MBA Early 2014). For most stuff BTunes is supposed to be nearly as good as wired.
 
I do feel BTunes enhances the bass and treble audibly/slightly. But I like that with the HD 598. :)
 
Also, I am using the same setup for both the CS and SE. I am only comparing them to each other. So it really shouldn't matter as much.

So you would or would NOT say these are balanced/neutral sounding like the AKG K550?? The V-Shaped mids thing is confusing. Is the whole EQ spectrum V-Shaped or just the mids???

I actually ordered the CS and they just came in today. I have them in a 2-day "burn-in" session right now (minus nights). I'm gonna audition them extensively =407991]as I always do and then post a review.........and a link to that review here for you all as well. Prob this week sometime. 
 
Yeah lol.........not sure what that even meant.
