The FiiO E10K--all-new DAC and amp stages
Apr 10, 2019 at 11:46 AM Post #1,081 of 1,083
Had my E10k for a few years connected to my PC and its been perfect until recently were I think its starting to fail.

To play back my hires music files 24/96 I have the Fiio set to it in Windows for proper playback using ASIO4ALL in a number of players Foobar and Aimp but recently with the device set to any of the 24bit formats in windows when you either play, pause or seek any audio based file (be in movie, music player or even a website with sound) there is a crackle in the right channel only via the headphone socket (line out at the back is fine).

Tried so many different ways to fix it:
*different usb cables and all ports tried
*different headphones and earphones
*any other audio disabled
*even tried on new OS and on a laptop with the same result.

Dear friend,

If you are using DS output instead of ASIO, does the issue remain same? Please send email to support@fiio.com about that.

Best regards

Just joined the club and I'm wondering why on a MAC you set the format to the highest since the lossless music I feed it is mostly 24-96kHz. I listen using "Pine Player" if that matters.
