I just watched a bunch of walking spider/machine vids. Way cool! I want one. Wouldn't they make great props for a sci-fi movie?

I wonder how this invention might affect building in rural areas. I'd sure love to have a home on the side of a hill, but excavation and building such a home would be tough with conventional tractors/haulers, etc. This invention might make the cost of such construction much cheaper, because it would reduce the amount of time it would take to haul in materials and build such structures.

Add in solar panels, a water reservoir and a minefield, and I'd be ready for the bomb to drop!
