Saw this on the ole' interweb and did a bit of a double take. Custom earmolds on the cheap or just a scam? Sounds interesting, specially if they work acceptably with IEMs as opposed to just earbuds. Price is cheap, anyone tried this? I'm kinda skeptical but intrigued.

Looks more like modeling putty (you mix the two parts together like epoxy and it sets after a period of time).

Looks like the material they use to take an ear mold for custom molded monitors/earplugs. It hardens up to be pretty firm, I wondered if the molds would make a good cheap set of custom earplugs back when I did my own set at home. I have no idea how durable the material is.

Does it set around your ear hairs and hurt like hell when you try and take it out?
