The Different Types of IEM Connectors

I wonder if something like this can fix the issue of MMCX lifespan:

Just leave it on the MMCX connector of IEM, and use a 2 pin cable at the other end (assuming resistance of this adapter thing is low and that it doesn't affect sound signature).

Does look like that adapter wont make fit worse than something like this:

U got a link for this one?

Though the 2 pin female connector part is recessed? Not sure which 2 pin cables can fit this?

This one looks like it will fit more 2pin cables. (also from the same link above.)

There is also the strange MMCX connector from Obravo with a slit on the outside part or ring. It is a MMCX where the cable can't spin free. I hated this thing on my Obravo Cupid. I grinded down until the slit disappeared, so you can use a normal mmcx.

This is the only store I have found that does an angled MMCX to 2 pin. The third customer review confirms that it is a recessed 2 pin female port, not a male one.

Thanks, good info. Have any of you guys tried them? Am interested to see if these adapter thingies will mess up the impedance or mess with the sound? I'm a bit wary to add something in the chain as such. But might save a MMCX connector on our IEM in the long term so this is worth a consideration for sure. Or just leave a cable on an MMCX IEM permanently and don't cable roll.

I've just ordered that angled MMCX -2 pin and an angled 2 pin- MMCX. They are good to try different cables untill I decide to swap the connectors over permanently.

I do have a straight connector that I bought from Penon (massively overpriced). I don't feel it messes with the sound of the cable. Any cabled adaptor would ideally have the same cable as the one you are trying.

Could someone please clarify the specifications of the various KZ and CCA connectors. Are all of the 2 pin plugs 0.75mm? Other than these 2 brands, what other brands typically use 0.75mm plugs, TRN? TIA.
