The diary entries of a little girl nearing 30!

I just read this one:

That's 5 minutes I will never get back.  A magical Japanese power cable that causes a significant change to the sound of cymbal crashes??  Really??

Well, it does look pretty.

And you mustn't underestimate the Japanese people. They probably dipped it in the waters of a hot spring situated on the grounds of some famous Buddhist temple.

Though I guess a few people on this thread might already know about this, thought I would throw this out there:

Some fun game / geek related music, a good cause. So far I've only listened to the They Might be Giants Album, which is fun.

I bought the humble indie game bundle thing twice, but haven't even played a single one of the games.

I have.
I once read the entire HE-500 review when I was interested in buying that headphone. It actually wasn't that bad a review, from what I can remember.

Yeah, I actually read that too and it was decent.  I meant to make a more complete post there, but things were going on and I couldn't keep typing on my phone.  I brought it up because I was trying to read through his Rx MK3 review, especially since he said something about using it with the Ortofon eq7, which I was interested in as it's a very sensitive IEM, but I was forced to start skimming after reaching my hyperbole threshold and couldn't spot anything else on that pairing.  The articles there typically have an abysmal signal to noise ratio.  I actually start to feel ill attempting to read them sometimes.

Let's see how much of this one I can handle.

CLAS -> MK3 -> Sig Pro is awesome btw, a lot better than what I remember of the SR71B.  I also find the MK3's bass adjustment enjoyable, which is the first time I've felt that way about such a feature.

First off, thanks for reminding this. Trying to do a decent job of half-maintaining my Indie Bundle thread here is hard work LOL.

Second: OMG VALKIRIA CHRONICLES

That would therefore make it like any other altruistic charitable donation then. :3

I was actually planning on playing them at the time though.

However I stopped playing games not long after purchasing them. I have come to enjoy lurking head-fi and watching anime more than playing games. Don't know what changed, and I don't think I could call it an increase in maturity either.

Just paid $1 for that because I don't remember liking what I've heard of Johnathan Coulton or Frontalot, but maybe they've changed?  Curious to hear Valkiria Chronicles, though, which I have yet to play.

I had to start skimming when he pasted the entire company blurb for some reason and then listed his sample tracks in paragraph form.

I would like to point out that power cable is 3,600 Euros, which (according to google) is $4,419.  It's even more impressive when you consider that the key feature of the cable is that it has four hollow plastic tubes in it.  I'm sure the use of Teflon helps make the electrons move much faster, thereby making: "Their attacks were shown more strongly with more micro information surrounding them."

The power company would love you!  If you lived in California, you might be responsible for summertime rolling blackouts...  :p

The cost is decent here, a little less than 10c /kWh, we pay in the $400 /month ballpark. Plus I don't leave amps and such on 24/7, just when they're being used.

Still relatively cheaper compared to our rates . Our electric bill is averaging $430 a month now but that is including the fact that we are using solar for the water. The heater has the power shut off to it so no electricity usage from it at all. If we didn't have the solar our electric bill would be in the $700+ range now.

Thank you for this link. Just spent $10 on it and am in the process of downloading all the albums now.

Oh man, that's a riot. When I bought the McIntosh the salespeople there tried to sell me a $500 power cable and $2000 conditioner, I just looked at the guys and shook my head.

I do use nice Panamax surge protectors with lifetime warranties, however.
