The person should have sold their HE-500s here in the F/S section.  They could have saved 9% in Ebay fees.  That particular seller has quite a bit of audio currently listed - amps, Klipsch subwoofers, etc. - so they are some sort of enthusiast.  It was probably some guy's wife selling off his toys following a divorce.  When that happens, the gear usually goes at a pretty good price.

Given the mens wedding ring also being sold off, you're probably not far wrong.

If the seller gets that much for the HF-2, then mine is going up next!

It's HF for Head-Fi, Grado made a bunch of special limited edition cans just for Head-fiers a while back.

SlickDeals.net member, "FakeTheSnake," posted the RedTag.net Sennheiser Event.
What's of note?  I suppose the Amperior Blue or Silver for $160 and the Momentum for $250.

Do take note that all models are either

or

Edit:  I can't speak to any personal experience with the seller, so I checked both BBB (They're accredited with an A- rating)  and Reseller Ratings (where they only have four reviews, all negative).  Buyer beware?

Second Edit: I initially provided the incorrect Reseller Ratings link.

I mean, look at where their "company address" takes you.
