The DACs in galaxy s6 and the m9.. What do we know?

Got my S6 early from T-Mobile, I can definitely say the DAC chip is something else and will be investing in a better DAC. Although, having issues getting EQ apps to work, media players with EQS work though. If you are not aware, Android Lollipop is more restrictive with permissions, so rooting is becoming more necessary.

Usually the implementation of the wolfson DAC leaves a lot to be desired, when Samsung does it. Rooting and custom kernels usually takes care of this. Has anyone run the s9 with a custom kernel with better utilisation of the wolfson DAC? If not, then we need to wait for that, before judging.

When I had the S3 and used it with a custom kernel taking advantage of the Wolfson DAC it really changed everything from volume, to clarity and much more.
