It's a very interesting seed. I'm having a hard time trying to describe the flavor but it is unique. I just can't put my finger on it in figuring out how to describe it's taste. But yeah, it's very interesting.

I don't find anything particularly interesting about cumin, however I am very interested in the medicinal properties of spices. 
My favorites are cayenne, turmeric, cloves, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, and licorice root.

I like the cumin seed but at least you have good taste in other fine spices.
