I don't want to spoil anyone's fun with the Yamaha...but not only does it sound kind of hollow (tonal incorrect) , it also tends to distort various tracks/genres at over 90db
The only thing where I personally say yes the Yamaha is ahead is the construction...the Japanese have done that really well here 👍
But that's just my opinion and will certainly be evident in one or the other measurement........

NOMAX

PS.....how far the Composer (2.500 Euros) is ahead of the Yamaha (5.500 Euros) 😎

I actually liked the AKG K812. I sold those in an hour of need.

Have you ever heard AKG K812?
No I didn't, that's why I went to this shop to try them but they had only the Composer. For the price is amazing. Even if I had money I will still not buy the Yamaha, will the the Composer and a nice amp, or a high end portable music instead.
Still looking to try the K812.

Also I give Yamaha a low mark because of the price. Not worth it.
Currently, my most expensive headphones are my $800 Meze 109 Pro headphones.

Its not a bad headphone for 800....a little bit to bright to my ears 😎

I am actually enjoying the Sennheiser HD660S2 more. More even. Not overly bright.
