Do you know you if it’s possible to use the K872 earpads on the K812? That should be an interesting modK872 wasn't my thing, I like K812 with the mesh from K872 better.
Strange that my DT1990 can hold its own so bravely with analytic pads, sometimes overtaking the K812.
I listen alternately (depending on my mood) with Composer or DT1990.
With the analytic pads, the DT1990 has a slight “hump” in the mid-bass range, which makes it sound a touch warmer than Composer (“dead straight frequency response” in this range).
The ~8kHz Beyer peak is noticeable in around 20% of my music on the DT1990. Only a slight reduction helps, -5dB at 8kHz is enough.
Composer has no problem with these pieces of music!

For Score, the spec says "Rise time: 0.25 µs, TTT on". For a 20 kHz signal at the edge of our hearing we have a period of 50 us. One quarter of it is 12.5 us. So why would anyone need a 0.25 us of rise time?

Not at all. TTT which is supposed to improve the rise time is the selling point for this amp, so I would like to understand the background. 0.25 us means 14MHz bandwidth. That for sure would improve the square wave in the lab but I don't see how it is relevant for audio reproduction. No music signal offers these transients, good microphones go far beyond the human hearing range, but the upper cut-off frequency is cut off below half of the digital sampling frequency - studios and mixing consoles usually only use 96 kHz, above that only in exceptional cases - that means 48 kHz is already cut off, probably the roll-off starts at just above 20 kHz. Also avoids unwanted HF interference.

This high slew rate helps only for NFB (Negative FeedBack) of the amp. At Class AB amplifier to reduce crossover distortion in the power stage.

You didn't understand what I meant by this - I was describing why most digital sources no longer contain such high audio frequencies - it is simply impossible due to the digitalisation process!
This is also due to the necessary audio filters of the AD converter, whose cut-off frequency again depends on the sampling rate.
