I am watching Truth in 24 at the moment.

Possibly the most brilliant motorsport video ever. My mind is blown by its awesomeness.

US users, iTunes has it for free you lucky gits

So it has come down to either a 89 325i 4dr Manual, a 86-89 Cheese Wedge manual or another 92 Yata with manual everything.... Votes.

*BTW* This is for a daily.

Power slide in the rain maybe. 96hp. Also with a 92 and a weak open LSD or a Viscious LSD that is more or less an open LSD after 60k miles power sliding will have you end up with a broken diff.

I'd go with the 92 Miata, but then again, I'm biased.

Pretty cool video, but man i can't imagine a bike with a turbo on it. I mean aside from the insane top speed, wth do you do if the turbo hits mid-turn....I guess you keep your revs high so the turbo's always rockin full tilt??

Yeah, its quite insane!
The R1 maxing out at 299km/h, then the Hayabusa do a power-wheelie while passing him.

Then again, wasn't there a bike with a Chinook helicopter turbine?

Think I remember seeing a video of Jay Leno riding a jet powered bike of some sort. It would go quite well with his tank car

As the leaders in turbine innovation, MTT has produced the ultimate in high performance machines: the MTT Turbine SUPERBIKE. The critically acclaimed SUPERBIKE is the world's first turbine powered street legal motorcycle in its class, and has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the "Most Powerful Motorcycle Ever to Enter Series Production" and the "Most Expensive Production Motorcycle"($150,000 USD ). Powered by a Rolls Royce Allison gas turbine engine, the SUPERBIKE has demonstrated over 300 hp and 425 ft/lbs of torque on the Dyno Jet 200, and has been clocked at a record-breaking 227 mph.

Now think about it. This engine was designed to lift a 10,000-pound Bell Ranger helicopter. Now it's in a 460-pound bike xx). It only makes about 10 hp at idle and takeoff is no special thrill. The bike really pulls hard from about 50 or 60 mph, because turbines have to spool up. Then it's like the hand of God pushing you in the back. When you leave the line you've got maybe 40 hp. You go 10 more feet and you've got 70 hp. Then you've got 100, then 150, then as much as you dare. This thing will do a quarter-mile in 9 seconds. It's shaft driven, not thrust driven, with a two-speed transmission. You don't need more than two speeds because you've got those 450 ft.-lb. of torque. The shaft redlines at 6600 rpm. The wheelbase is 71 in. pretty long by motorcycle standards. And the steering is slow, but it handles okay.

Representing the latest in engineering technology, the bike features carbon fiber fairings, forward and rear-looking radar detector with laser scrambler, one touch "Smart Start" ignition and of course, those big pipes are trying to melt everything in the rearview mirror. Except you don't have a conventional rearview mirror. You have a video camera that's mounted in the tail section, facing backward, of course. It transfers the rear image to a LCD color display monitor in the dash. Squinting through heat waves, you can see everything behind you. If curious guys get too close, their bumper can shrivel up like a roasted marshmallow >.There's an 8.5-gal. tank. That's enormous for a motorcycle, but the mileage is only 4 to 6 mpg :'(, so your range is maybe 50 miles, worse than a Harley with a peanut tank.
