Just to update everyone, the car has been sold.

The 2nd gen TL was plagued with transmission problems. the tranny went, acura refused to goodwill a replacement since i was 52 miles over the limit

so i had to cough up 5k for a replacement. Took a couple months to save up the 5k for it since i had tons of bills so by time i got it done, i fell out of love with the car. parted out the small audio system, the work wheels, the suspension, and sold the car for 9k.

Friend had me test fit some wheels since he was picking up a TL..

After the suspension. Was gonna sell the oem kit, too but figured it would be easier to sell with the kit.

Currently on the hunt for a clean e39 m5

OMG! Very sad news, I remember when I took my MSF (motorcycle safety foundation) course and they said to always check your '6' and leave the bike in gear at stops so you can make a quick get away. But these poor riders had no chance, RIP.
