I just got my 1st pair of Beyerdynamics in the mail today. I won a pair of Custom Street from Audio 46's Youtube channel.
They work great and the build quality seems great as well, but I was just wondering about the sound of these and if they are fairly representative of the Beyer House Sound.
I'm over dramatizing here, but the sound signature of these kind of sound like a subwoofer hooked up to a clock radio. lol Bass is nice and full, but vocals are tinny and withdrawn.
I don't think these are bad sounding headphones. They are clear, punchy, and provide good detail. I'd probably be pretty happy with them if I did purchase them. They are a great alternative, and possibly better and cheaper, to something like Beats.
I'm just wondering, for future possible purchases, if this general sound signature is the basis of what Beyerdynamic brings to the table with their other headphones?
