a couple years ago I went to Canjam in Orange County. I was at the Astell and Kern booth and listened to the T1 that had just been released as a Beyerdynamic Headphone made for Astell and Kern. It was selling for over $1000 and my budget could not handle it. It was one of the best headphones I've every heard (then powered by an AK240).
Then "drop" formally "massdrop" announced they were making the very newest version (35 ohm) 1.2 AK T1 for $500.
I had just purchased the Hiby R6 Dap to replace my old Pono. The R6 is a sleeper having very good sound like the AK240 with plenty of power.
I am of the first Drop batch and hope others will let us all know if this was gold.
