Greetings audio experts,
I've recently acquired a pair of Akg k712's, Modi 2 Uber, and a Magni 3 - almost exclusively for symphonic/classical listening. Right now I'm connected using my desktop computer, but when sending a digital signal to the dac, how much does source matter? Would a blu ray player or receiver offer sonic advantages (holding qualify of the music file constant) over a computer, or is it largely irrelevant and come down to a USB vs coax vs optical matter? Sorry for the dumb question - I'm an electrical idiot and this is my first foray into the very big world of hifi.
