Since I am Italian I would add Elisa (elisatoffoli.com), she sings in Italian and in English too and she has been recently touring in the States.

It's a solid album, with some really superb renditions by a nice collection of modern female vocalists. I still think the Sara Bareillas/Ingrid Michaelson original track that opens the album (Winter Song) is the best in the bunch.
