THE best female vocals? (your favorite female singers)

Lauren Daigle!
I see your teenage dream and raise you an acoustic the one that got away sir.
Some of my favorites:
Susan Tedeschi (currently singing in the Tedeschi Trucks Band)
Maria Mena, in her prime on her album "Viktoria".
Here, her voice has matured and this is before she started going downhill musically (IMHO).
Susanne Sundfør. Here's just one of her many sublime songs;
I find it beautifully haunting and truly heartbreaking.
I have many, many more favorites... will probably add more to this thread again in the near future

This song is special.
Its unfortunate that they over produced Adele's voice with auto tune and a few other tricks on this Track, as she doesn't need it, yet the Radio demands this "plastic robot" vocal sound these days....
The '80s classic big ballad arrangement sounds like vintage David Foster. (look him up) He wrote and produce some fo the biggest pop hits...mostly in the '70's and 80's.
Auto Tune is a crutch. Its a software device that allows for poor singing and lack of vocal skill, and Adele has all this, and does not need the vocal processing.
A-Tune.... allows talentless singers to cheat you into thinking they can sing....especially LIVE.
All she needs is a wee bit of delay and a light touch of reverb and a good mic to produce a "Live room sound" as she's naturally a vocal home run.
